Our Cottages are located 6 miles east of the historic town of St Jean d'Angely east of Rochefort on the coast. We are a 4 hr drive from St Malo, 6 hrs from Cherbourg
and 8 hrs from Calais. We are centrally located for visiting the whole of the Charente Maritime and an easy 1 hrs drive to La Rochelle airport and all the beaches south
of there down to Royan.
Closest airports are La Rochelle (1hr), Poitiers (1hr20), Bordeaux (1hr30), Limoges (2hrs). Closest ferry ports are St Malo (4hrs), Caen (5hrs30), Cherbourg (6hrs).
It is imperative that you have a car as the gites are in a very rural location with no bus or taxi service.
