The La Grange du Moulin child friendly gites property located in SW France , welcomes families. The family friendly property has two safely enclosed heated swimming pools, one specifically for toddlers. There's a large enclosed play garden filled with toys and we hold children and toddler activities each week such as pottery and fabric painting and even scuba diving!
Horloge gite sleeps five in three bedrooms, ideally 2 adults and up to 3 children plus a cot. The master bedroom has a king sized bed (160x200) with fitted wardrobe and set of draws, there is a twin room and a spacious single room with wardrobe and set of draws.
The bathroom has a full bath with shower attachment over the bath, sink and loo. A baby bath / baby seat can be provided and there is a non slip mat too.
Downstairs is an open plan living, dining and kitchen area. The kitchen is equipped with everything you will need for a comfortable self catering stay including dishwasher, electric oven/grill, 4 ring gas hob, fridge freezer, microwave and all the crockery and cutlery needed for a self catering holiday. There are also childrens plastic plates etc and a hand blender for purees.
Once the children are in bed you can enjoy a relaxing soak in the hot tub and watch the night sky .
From the lane, Horloge family holiday cottage is third in the row - fairly central and directly opposite the sandpit and play garden so you can sit back and drink a glass or two of the locally produced Pineau whilst your children play in the garden within view of your terrace.
This family holiday self catering gite sleeps 5 in 3 bedrooms . It is approximately 6m by 6m on each floor. There is a spacious open plan ground floor with living and dining areas and a kitchen area.

Parent points: There is an open tread, cast iron, spiral staircase leading to the first floor. It has a stair gate at the top and stair barrier at the bottom . There are 3 bedrooms, a king sized double room, a twin room and a single. The double bedroom in is smaller than those in Papillon cottage or Grenier cottage, but this means more spacious 3rd bedrooms. It is directly opposite the sand pit and enclosed play garden.
Horloge family gite has an open terrace area to the front and rear with charcoal barbecues at the rear. Two families together may like to let Ruche and Horloge gite s at La Grange du Moulin together as there is a space between the two which may be used to put tables together and eat as one large group.
Cot, high chair, booster seat, change mat, toys and books, stair barriers, potty and toilet seat , plastic crockery and cutlery, toddler step an hand blender are standard items in all the holiday cottages at La Grange du Moulin child friendly gites.
Our family holiday properties are located in the heart of the French countryside with lovely views all around. Perfect for a relaxing child friendly family holiday. Centrally located in the Charente Maritime department of SW France, we are an easy drive to hundreds of km of sandy beaches. The Charente Maritime is also easy to get to with airports in la Rochelle, Bordeaux, Nantes, Poitiers and Limoges all accessible. The nearest port to the Charente Maritime is the French port of St Malo.
We have other family holiday properties in the SW France area suitable for older children and teens and also a family friendly private villa for families or adult only groups.
The pool area is completely enclosed, has a child safety latch on the gate and also has an alarm to comply with French safety regulations.
All the family holiday gites have access to the communal laundry room with washing machines, tumble dryer, rotary dryer - all free of charge. Each holiday cottage also has an iron, ironing board and hairdryer.
Horloge family holiday cottage has a terrace front and back. Equipped with garden tables and chairs, parasol and bbq - essential for a self catering holiday in rural France.
Your children can run freely in and out to the communal play garden, filled with toys, swings, slide, trampoline, sandpit and even a pirate ship!
