What if my child wakes early or needs a nap?
Our gîtes are ideal for keeping children’s routines as normal as possible.
- Individual bedrooms allow children to go to bed at different times
- Parents can sit outside their cottage and read a book or sunbathe whilst their child naps
- Shutters or blackout curtains help with naps and early bedtimes
- We have quiet time after 9pm so younger children can sleep
- We are exclusively for families with young children so no teens staying up late to disturb you

Yes. Our surroundings are calm, spacious, and family-friendly.

It’s an ideal environment for young children to enjoy freedom while parents stay relaxed. Many parents tell us our set up is so much more relaxing than a busy campsite where they can't let their toddler play without constant supervision
What if something isn’t right during our stay?
We are on hand to help
- Because this is a family-run business, we care deeply about our guests’ experience.
- We live onsite so are available daily and 24/7 in an emergency
- If you have a question or concern during your stay, we’ll go above and beyond to help quickly and practically.
For many parents this is their first holiday abroad with children. Having someone on hand to recommend a beach or book a Drs appointment is invaluable. We are regularly praised for our availability when needed but also that we are not intrusive.
What about medical care or emergencies?
Peace of mind is important when travelling abroad with babies or when pregnant.

Is there a washing machine?
Yes. It's certainly an essential item when holidaying with young children & babies.
- Laundry room onsite with several washing machines free of charge
- Individual drying racks, large rotary dryer & a tumble dryer too
- Iron and board in each cottage
Save room in the car or avoid excess baggage costs, just bring the essentials.
Is food provided?
No. Our properties are self catering
- Shop at the local markets for fresh cheeses and salads & soak up the French culture
- All the kids favourite brands can usually be found in the supermarkets
- Gluten & dairy free produce available
- Families often organise feeding the children together so they can relax with an alfresco dinner & a glass or two of wine later on
- simple lunches of bread and cheese will be all the kids want before they run off to play with their new friends
Many parents say how enjoyable it is to socialise with other parents and how relaxing it is not to be forced into eating at set times as in a hotel.
I'm concerned about my toddler accessing the pool
We understand that pools are one of parents’ biggest concerns. Our pool area is
- Fully fenced with one gate with a child safety latch
- Pool alarm that conforms to French safety standards
- Clear pool rules
- Good visibility around the pool
- Only ever a maximum of six families using the pool area all with young children
