Our stay at La Grange du Moulin has been lovely. Wendy, Chris and the boys have been very friendly and helpful and nothing is too much trouble. Everything is set up to keep the children entertained in a safe, secure environment; from the two pools, games, toys, to the outdoor play area - which in turn means their parents can relax and enjoy the beautiful surroundings. Some great days out to the local park, swimming lake, aquarium, beautiful villages and towns added to a great week, thanks -

A family owned group of 6 child friendly gites in rural France. The family friendly property has two safely enclosed heated swimming pools, one specifically for toddlers. There's a large enclosed play garden filled with toys and we hold children and toddler activities each week such as pottery and fabric painting.
The Ruche holiday cottage has a large open plan down stairs with dining area, sitting area and a fully equipped corner kitchen. The kitchen has everything a family would need for a comfortable self catering stay in rural France. There is a dishwasher, electric oven, 4 ring gas hob, fridge freezer, microwave and all the crockery and cutlery needed. There is also a hand blender for making purees and plastic table ware for the children.
Ruche family holiday cottage has a patio to the rear with drinks table. It also has a garden table and chairs with parasol and barbecue to the front so you can relax with a chilled glass of wine whilst your children make new friends in the safely enclosed play garden.
La Grange du Moulin property is EXCLUSIVELY for families with babies, toddlers and young children.
Ruche cottage rental is a 3-bedroom family holiday cottage at La Grange du Moulin, sleeping up to 5 guests. Set fairly central in the terrace, it sits directly opposite the play garden—allowing parents to relax on the patio with a glass of local Pineau while keeping a close eye on playing children.
Living & Dining Area
The cottage features a spacious open-plan ground floor layout (approximately 6m x 6m per floor) combining the main living, dining, and kitchen spaces.
- Kitchen Appliances: 4-ring gas hob, worktop electric oven/grill, fridge-freezer, dishwasher, microwave, and electric kettle.
- Cookware & Tableware: Fully equipped for self-catering, including dedicated children's plastic plates, bowls, cutlery, and a hand blender for purees.
Bedrooms
An open-tread, cast-iron spiral staircase leads to the first floor:
- Bedroom 1: King-size bed (160x200cm) with a built-in wardrobe and chest of drawers.
- Bedroom 2: Double bed (140x190cm) with a small chest of drawers and clothes hooks.
- Bedroom 3: Single bedroom with room to accommodate a complimentary travel cot.
Bathroom
- Bathroom: Equipped with a bath, shower attachment, basin, toilet, and strong water pressure with plenty of hot water. A baby bath/seat is available upon request.

- Included Gear: Cot, high chair, booster seat, changing mat, potty, toilet trainer seat, toddler step, stair safety barriers (top and bottom), toys, and books.
Outdoor Spaces & Group Stays
- Terraces & Outdoor Dining: Features open terrace areas at both the front and rear, complete with a charcoal barbecue at the back.
- Group Option: Ideal to book alongside neighboring Horloge cottage; the shared space between the two allows tables to be joined for group dining.
- Ideal For: Families with children. Planning a trip with two couples? Because Ruche features one shared bathroom and limited storage in the second double room, it can feel a bit snug for two pairs of adults. We recommend taking a look at Pêche, our larger cottage with two dedicated bathrooms for extra privacy and space.
